  2. I observe any similarities between China today and Japan after World War II?
Japan managed to not only rebuild its economy, but to become one of the most important industrialized nations of the world today, this after the Second World War and is now one of the greatest leaders in the industry and quality, the similarity I find is progress in production processes both have and are always at the forefront, updating and improving every stage of production.

What opportunities does China have to learn quality progress achieved by Japan and the West during the past half century?
In my view, it has many opportunities since China has an impressive vision for its production, which aims to grow even more atravez policy of total quality, improving in all areas, from education, health, living standards and even most important consumer.
Huawei Technologies does not give an example of growth in their production processes, taking into account the client, growth, profit, etc.

  5. 1. The similarity between China today and Japan post-World War II is that both of them are trying to rebuild their economies to improve education, health and living standards including the population in the improved industrial processes to deliver a better quality of life.
Both China and Japan were implementing in their industries or companies approaches precise in total quality control in production processes.

The obvious differences are that China seeks to improve their lifestyle to become leader while Japan wanted to improve in order to survive and bring down all the damage caused by World War II.

    2. It has a great opportunity because it has a role model and has the necessary tools to carry it out. China should learn from the opportunities it has in the market, its advantages and disadvantages. China will have to achieve an added value to be the preferred option compared to its rival countries.

And all the progress that has developed is observed in the present with the idea of adopting the total quality management, striving to improve aspects such as education, health, standards of living and more important their manufactured consumer goods.

Japan was reborn from the ashes of the Second World War, as it was in hunger and ruin. the Japanese destroyed by their situation learned to work in teams using the best quality products, they took advantage of the time and space with the just in time and avoided the most of leisure in people.
China is overpopulated and look for the best quality processes, skilled workers, have cutting edge technology and quality tools.

2.China has shown that it has great potential since 2008. It`s great weakness is to continue copying the technology of its rivals, as it has economic resources needed to create its own technology, as well as having great potential in labor and innovation.
Their big chance is to learn from the mistakes of their rivals (Japan and USA), thanks to have qualified people and desire to overcome the quality of its products today.

They pay attention to quality in the manufacturing processes of its products from start to finish.
The differences could detect is that China has to be constantly updated to technological advances, and invest in tools and quality techniques to help her become a quality leader in the industry, in order to make its economy improves and a better standard of living have. However, Japan has already achieved a breakthrough in its technological processes and its economy has been growing favorably. Although both look equally excel in business and become a quality leader in the industry.
2.- I think it must create new ways to compete in the market, avoiding copying foreign technologies, and that alone has good tools for industrial progress, in addition to the population learns quickly and adapts to changes, which is a great competitive advantage. This will allow you to keep improving its processes, expand the market and improve its economy.

Similarity that both countries have all made very easily and quickly, and although many people do not like the Chinese or Japanese products because they have the quality, as if they have it and are in much better and cheaper than other times. Of course the products made are given time for this in order to continue selling and creating more products that is what they will generate more money.
